DrHamiltonBioImageNewDr. Donald Hamilton is a board certified otolaryngologist, having earned his B.S. degree from the University of Florida and his M.D. from the University of Texas, Health Science Center in San Antonio. After medical school he first completed a surgery internship and then an Ears, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgical residency, both at the Air Force’s Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas, whose excellent surgical training program is widely respected.

While serving as an ENT surgeon in the Air Force, Dr. Hamilton was Chief of ENT and later Chief of Surgery at Carswell Air Force Base, Fort Worth, Texas. He has met the rigorous requirements necessary to become board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and has been accepted into the prestigious American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, as well as the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of several respected medical societies including the local Okaloosa County Medical Society and the Florida Medical Society.

Dr. Hamilton established his practice in Fort Walton Beach in 1987 to bring new advances in the practice of ENT to the Emerald Coast of Florida. He is committed to medical excellence and stresses concern and personal attention within the realm of conservative medical ethics. He is on the staff of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, Twin Cities Hospital and Emerald Coast Surgery Center. He is an extraordinarily skilled and thorough physician and surgeon, who takes the time needed to fully evaluate and treat each of his patients’ special medical problems.

Having led his family into active membership in a local church, Dr. Hamilton has been involved in many aspects of community service, including teaching a Bible Study at the county jail. In addition to serving as a short term medical missionary in the Philippines, Jamaica, Peru and Egypt, Dr. Hamilton presently serves on Grace Mission’s Advisory Board supporting a medical mission work in Mozambique, Africa. He and his wife have raised five children who continue the tradition of Christian service world wide.
